Future Squared was founded in 2009 by Ita McGuigan.
Ita is a qualified guidance counsellor and a member of both the Institute of Guidance Counsellors and the British Psychological Society (BPS).
Ita graduated from Queen's University Belfast with a degree in chemical engineering, and worked in one of the leading engineering consultancy firms in the country upon graduation.
After working as an engineer, and later with young people and educators, Ita reassessed her own career and returned to education. She became a qualified guidance counsellor, graduating with a first-class honours degree in guidance and counselling from NUI Maynooth. Since then she has also completed a diploma in business and executive life coaching.
With an extensive CV, Ita is well positioned to assist clients in discovering their ideal career path. Ita offers career guidance to a wide audience, including second-level students, third-level students, graduates, job seekers and those considering a complete career change.
